Arden started life as a small family business in 1965, from a small wooden shed in Lapworth our father and son team produced gates and trailers, as well as doing general fabrications for the local farming community. We started to concentrate more on gates and decorative products such as ornate window grills, rose arches and balconies. This we felt was the way forward.
It soon became apparent that we had outgrown our small wooden shed and managed to buy some land from a local farmer. Here we constructed a purpose built workshop. Taking on another staff member our orders kept on flowing in, to such a point that our new workshop soon became too small, time for an extension.
In no time at all it was agreed between father and son that more staff were needed and indeed more workshops to house them. Let the building commence, everybody helped in the construction of the extra workspace.
Today, from our 4 workshops, we run a team of 15 skilled fabricators and automation engineers, along with our contractors who specalise in brickwork, driveway surfacing and groundworks.
